Wodzisław Śląski is a town that draws on Silesia's industrial traditions whilst also taking advantage of hi-tech development opportunities. It is a town that favours investors, meeting the needs of both Polish and foreign businesses. This is reflected in many things, such as the local authorities' ensuring that Wodzisław Śląski is characterised by a very high level of coverage by the master zoning plan. Presently, the town boasts one of the highest such indicators in Poland – 95%. This enables easy planning and implementation of projects.
When it comes to investment, the inhabitants of Wodzisław Śląski are its undeniable chief asset. They are thriving and ingenious people who take advantage of development opportunities as they arise. It is also worth noting that over 60% of the inhabitants of Wodzisław Śląski are of the working age.
As the economy grows, the need to take care of other spheres of life does not escape the attention of the authorities of Wodzisław Śląski. For example, they create opportunities for attractive pastimes, so that companies which invest in the town can present an attractive offer to their employees – juniors and executives alike.
All of this, and many other factors, make Wodzisław Śląski a significant – and increasingly more important – economic centre of the Silesia region.
